A viral helmet camera video has surfaced, exposing the dangers of high-speed riding on busy roads. The footage, captured from a trailing biker’s helmet camera, reveals a horrifying multi-vehicle collision caused by one reckless rider’s loss of control.

The video begins at a traffic signal turning green, with two scooters moving forward at a normal pace. Everything seems routine until the next frame reveals a speeding Hero bike racing ahead. The biker, seemingly in a rush, attempts to weave through traffic at an uncontrollable speed.

Within moments, the inevitable happens when the biker loses control and slams straight into the back of one of the scooters. The impact is so severe that the scooter tilts sharply, crashing into another innocent rider on its left. Unable to withstand the sudden force, the second scooter’s rider loses balance and falls hard onto the road.

But the chaos doesn’t stop there. The second scooter, now without its rider, continues rolling forward uncontrollably, veering straight toward two unsuspecting pedestrians on the roadside. The footage freezes just as the scooter smashes into them, sending them tumbling on the road.

The viral video was shared on ‘X’ by a popular handle named ‘MotorOctane’.

The frame-by-frame breakdown in the video illustrates the catastrophic impact of overspeeding and reckless riding.

A viral video capturing a nerve-wracking moment on a curvy uphill road has left the internet in awe.

The dashcam clip, which has amassed over 9.4 million views and garnered more than 45,000 likes on X (formerly Twitter), showcases the incredible presence of mind displayed by a truck driver in the face of brake failure.

The viral video, recorded by a dashcam, presents a split-screen view—one side capturing the road ahead and the other focusing on the driver inside the cabin. The truck, navigating a winding mountainous route, suddenly encounters a terrifying situation—the brakes fail.

As the realisation dawns, tension is evident on the driver’s face. However, instead of panicking, he remains composed, expertly maneuvering the massive vehicle through two sharp turns. His calculated decision-making prevents a catastrophic plunge down the steep terrain.

In a final act of control, he steers the truck into a large roadside rock formation, bringing it to a complete stop.

Miraculously, both the driver and his companion emerged unscathed. The truck’s momentum was halted just in time, avoiding what could have been a disastrous crash.

Watch the viral video here:

Social media users flooded the comment section with praise for the driver’s quick thinking and extraordinary composure. Many called him a “real-life hero” for preventing a major accident that could have endangered lives.

The viral video serves as a gripping reminder of the challenges truck drivers face on treacherous roads and the importance of skill, experience, and calm decision-making in critical moments.

Jajpur: A teenager was killed in a truck accident at the Ramco Cement Factory near Haridaspur in Jajpur district Friday morning at 9:30am, police said Saturday. The deceased, identified as Madhab Das, 17, son of Gopinath Das of Shyamsundarpur village under Jenapur police limits, was run over by an on-site loading truck.

Sources said Madhab had entered the plant with his elder brother’s truck and the accident occurred due to unsafe conditions at the loading site. His father alleged that the factory hid the body in a bid to cover up the incident, claiming that the authorities removed the body from the plant premises under the pretext of taking him for treatment.

In response, locals and family members staged a protest at the factory gate Saturday, demanding justice and the return of the body. They also questioned why the minor was allowed inside the factory and suggested the possibility of foul play. Informed, Dharmasala police reached the spot and launched an investigation into the case, while a platoon police force has been deployed to maintain law and order. Dharmasala police station Officer-In-Charge Ranjan Kumar Majhi confirmed that an investigation is ongoing and legal action will be taken.

Despite causing significant pollution, Ramco Cement has been allegedly operating for nearly six years without conducting public hearings with the affected people. The state government has granted all necessary permissions to the company. Although it was claimed that raw materials and finished products would be transported via rail, the company has been illegally using road transportation instead. This recent accident highlights the ongoing violations. Yet, neither the district administration nor the government has questioned how Ramco Cement continues production with such impunity.

Chandigarh:  At least nine people were killed and 11 injured in a collision between a pick-up van and canter truck while transporting workers of a catering service provider in Punjab’s Ferozepur district on Friday, police said.

The police said the pickup van was ferrying workers from Guru Har Sahai, a subdivision in Ferozepur district, to Jalalabad in neighbouring Fazilka district when the accident occurred.

Prima facie the cause of the accident was a tyre burst of the canter.

According to the police, about 25 to 30 people, mainly waiters, were in the pickup truck. They were travelling from Guru Har Sahai to Jalalabad to attend a programme when the accident occurred near Golu Ka Mod within the Guru Har Sahai Assembly constituency area.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Satnam Singh said as the accident was reported, teams from the Sadak Suraksha Force (SSF) reached the spot and started the rescue operation.

The injured were sent to the nearest hospitals in Guruharsahai, Jalalabad and a few of the critically injured were referred to the Guru Gobind Singh Medical College in Faridkot.

“Nine people have died. The Canter driver is among the injured,” said Senior Superintendent of Police Saumya Mishra, who rushed to the accident spot.

“Ten of the injured were referred to the Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital, Faridkot, and one was admitted at Jalalabad Civil Hospital,” said Deputy Commissioner Deepshikha Sharma.

She said that the district administration would bear the cost of treatment of all injured. Six of the seriously injured were taken to Faridkot Hospital while others were rushed to Jalalabad Hospital.

The bodies have been kept in a mortuary at the Civil Hospital of Jalalabad.

Locals reached the accident spot and started the rescue operation ahead of the local administration reached there.

“I pray to God for the eternal peace of the departed souls and the speedy recovery of the injured. The Punjab government stands with the families of the victims in this difficult time,” Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann wrote on X.
